The first annual Norway Triathlon was held on a steamy Saturday in July starting and finishing at Pennesseewassee Park on Norway Lake. There was a.6 mile swim on the lake a 9 mile bike leg and a 5k run. Registration was limited to 100 participants though and extra 30 people showed up in the morning! Based on all accounts the event was a great success and the organizers, sponsors and volunteers who made it happen should be congratulated. Proceeds from the race benefit the Western Foothills Land Trust's Roberts' Farm Preserve who's trails will be included in next year's event.![]() The turn into Pennesseewassee Park
